The provinces

All parts of Canada that aren't Toronto. The term was inspired by the Roman and British empires, which used to refer to all parts of the country outside Rome and London, respectively, as "the provinces".

Digital bastards

'Digital' is used as a superlative here, indicating that the recipient of this lighthearted slander is rather worse than the run-of-the-mill tosser.

Little hats

One of those small conical paper cups that are easily stackable; often found in dorm washrooms for the purpose of drinking water.

Tracking device

A tiny device that can be implanted upon somebody whose whereabouts you wish to be privy to at all times.
